Ch.Tamarlane's Silver Star ROM

This is "Star", a beautiful black and white pinto female.  She was our first top winner and was from our second litter.  Star was the top winning Akita in the US in 1979 and the first female to gain that distinction.   Not only was "Star" a top winner, she was also a top producer, with six champion offspring to her credit earning her the  ROM title.   ROM stands for "Register of Merit", a title that is coveted by every Akita breeder as it means that this Akita can produce top quality offspring.  Her blood is to be found in  every Tamarlane Akita to this day.
